Sofia Richie Goes Paddleboarding in a Cute Wetsuit: See Photos!

Sunday Funday! Sofia Richie was spotted paddleboarding at a beach in Malibu, California, with some friends on August 16. The up-and-coming actress, 21, was definitely dressed for the occasion in a cute black wetsuit complete with green sleeves featuring tropical flowers.

Unfortunately, it looks like Sofia’s off-again, on-again boyfriend, Scott Disick, wasn’t in attendance. The longtime Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 37, is currently on vacation in Idaho with his ex Kourtney Kardashian and their three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign.

While Scott is undoubtedly spending plenty of time with his family this summer, that doesn’t mean he and Sofia are over. In fact, after briefly splitting in May, the A-list couple is “giving love another shot,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “They’re keeping it on the down-low and are still figuring things out before making it official.”

Initially, Scott and Sofia decided to “take some time apart” following the Flip It Like Disick producer’s short stay in a Colorado rehab facility, a second insider previously told Life & Style. At the time, Scott was seeking treatment for emotional trauma related to the deaths of his parents. His mother, Bonnie Disick, died in 2013 and his father, Jeffrey Disick, passed away a few months later.

After less than a week, Scott returned to Los Angeles and is continuing to “work on himself,” the first source explained. As a result, he and Sofia “don’t want to jump into a full-blown relationship or anything like that. They’re taking baby steps and are spending time together and seeing where it goes.”

Given Scott and Sofia’s rollercoaster romance, the model’s father, Lionel Richie, isn’t sure their relationship is what’s best for his daughter. According to a third source, the “All Night Long” artist, 71, was “never a huge fan” of Scott and thinks Sofia is “better off” without him.

“Lionel warned her warned her not to get back with him but at the same time isn’t forcing his opinion on her,” the insider added. “Sofia is still so young and has her whole life ahead of her, and Lionel doesn’t want to see her settling down with the wrong guy.
