Taylor Swift Buys a Pregnant, Homeless Fan a House Because She’s Literally an Angel
She’s literally an angel! Taylor Swift has a very special relationship with her fans, aka the Swifties, and she also has a very charitable side. So when she found out that her longtime fan Stephanie Waw was going through some hardships and found herself pregnant and homeless, Tay went above and beyond and bought a house for her fan! Stephanie wrote a lengthy essay explaining the details in a recent post on Tay’s app, The Swift Life.
“I’ve been contemplating posting this story for a while. I’ve finally decided to tell you all what Taylor did for me. What many of you don’t know is that for [eighth] months of my pregnancy I was homeless,” Stephanie wrote. “Long story short our first flat was condemned for health and safety reasons and we lost everything. To add to the stress, during this time Matthew [her boyfriend] lost his job.”
Stephanie, who lives in Manchester, England has been going to Taylor’s concerts for years and even developed a relationship with Taylor at various meet-and-greets. Stephanie was attended one of Tay’s shows in Manchester and her mom told Taylor how much hardship Stephanie was going through and all she asked was that Taylor make Stephanie feel special — but Tay did even more than that.
“‘Stephanie, You’ve been in my life for a long time and you’ve never asked me for anything,'” Taylor told Stephanie. “‘You could have reached out and I would have helped you. But you didn’t. Your mom told me.’”
Taylor told Stephanie that she was going to pay for her concert ticket, but instead she bought her a home and all of the essentials that she needed as an expecting mom! “That night she gave me her hand and lifted me off the ground,” Stephanie wrote. “The same way she’s done for 12 years. I love her forever.”
