Rekindled romance? Audrina Patridge thinks Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti would be an “amazing couple” following the Very Cavallari star’s split from husband Jay Cutler. “I’m sure they’ve both grown, and they’re different people now, so we’ll see,” Audrina exclusively tells Life & Style about the Laguna Beach exes after they shared a cuddled up photo together

“I mean they used to be in love,” the Hills: New Beginnings star, 35, continues about her longtime pal, 33. However, Audrina knows from her own experience with divorcing ex-husband Corey Bohan, that being surrounded by friends is important.

“I know for me like when I got divorced it’s just nice talking to someone that you know really truly cares about you. Like, I talked to Ryan [Cabrera], and we started hanging out,” she explains. “It’s just going back and having that support and love and someone that knows you so well ’cause you need that for the first year ’cause you’re going through this change.”

Kristin shared the cozy photo with her longtime ex, 34, via Instagram on August 4. “2004 or 2020?!” she cheekily captioned the snapshot of her sitting on Stephen’s lap.

Their hangout session came four months after the Uncommon James designer’s split from Jay, 37, in April. “With great sadness, after 10 years together, we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” Kristin began her lengthy statement at the time. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.” The couple shares three children — Camden, 8, Jaxon, 6, and Saylor, 4.

Audrina says Kristin “seems like she’s in a good place,” despite the turmoil in her personal life. “Normally before someone gets divorced, it’s usually over six months to a year before,” adds the MTV star. “So, it slowly just starts dying and slowly your feelings change, and by the time you actually get divorced, it’s not a huge surprise. It’s not like, ‘Oh my God, I’m divorced!’ It’s just getting used to that change and not being with that person.”

Time will tell what the future holds for Kristin!
