The end game is sadly coming to an end. The Pretty Little Liars season finale date is just around the corner — and we're not ready to say goodbye to our favorite guilty pleasure.

Fans of PLL will get their last look at Aria, Hanna, Emily, Spencer, and the rest of the Liars on June 27, when the final episode of the Freeform series airs at 8 p.m.

The show, which launched the careers of Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, and Troian Bellisario, and all our current guy crushes (i.e. Ian Harding, Tyler Blackburn, Keegan Allen), is known for its unexpected plot twists, and the finale will be no different.

“I think we’re ending it at the most perfect time and honestly, there couldn’t have been a better ending for this,” Shay told EW. “You guys wrapped this up perfectly. Perfectly.”

The show's creator Marlene King also admitted that while the ending will be bittersweet, it was time to say goodbye. "We tried really hard in the finale, as Shay was saying, to deliver really high-stakes emotion but also high-stakes mystery, too," she added.

And those "high-stakes emotions" could be linked to a character who turns out to be more than what they seem in the highly anticipated finale.

"The physical masks that we played on towards the end of the season really [grew out of] the personality masks that we had on the show," executive producer Joseph Dougherty said cryptically at Paley Fest. "Everyone has a false face. Some of them are real, and some of them are plastic. But, yes, there are people walking around who are not who you think they are."
