Blake Shelton has finally spoken out about his divorce from Miranda Lambert. Cue the tears.
The 39-year-old kept things pretty straight forward during his conversation on the Bobby Bones Shows and said that the overall divorce process was quick – they were already divorced before the media knew it was happening.

"In Oklahoma, it happens so fast. Like, Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had a prenuptial agreement, whatever we had," he explained. "Once we filed for divorce, it was over in, like, I think it was like a nine or 10-day waiting period until it's over."

"We knew if rumblings and rumors started coming out, they would just be that. By the time anybody knew anything, it was over... It was done," he added.
Well, that's one way to talk about ending your four-year marriage.

The Voice coach got chummy with his 31-year-old ex on Twitter a few days after news broke of their divorce – but according to Blake, their social media moment wasn't due to a change of heart. He says that they're trying to remain friends.

"Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this, it is what it is. We're buddies," he said.
