St. James’s Palace confirms that Kate Middleton and Prince William will have their son christened next month.The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, will conduct the christening.Since George’s July 23 debut, which was one day after his birth, Kate and William have kept their little one out of the public eye.

The first official family portraits of the trio, taken by Kate’s father, Michael Middleton, at his Berkshire home, were released nearly one month after George’s birth.
“[Kate’s] doing a fantastic job,” William told CNN in August. “[She’s] very well.”
The royal couple made their first joint post-baby appearance at an event on Aug. 30, where the new mom showed off her svelte post-baby body. Two weeks later, they attended their first red carpet at the Tusk Awards on Sept. 12.

“Catherine and I have recently become proud parents of a baby who has a voice to match any lion’s roar,” William said at the event. “This is our first evening without him … please excuse us if you see us nervously casting surreptitious glances at mobiles.”
