Less than two weeks after Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and rushed to the hospital, sources say the former NBA star still has a long road ahead of him — including a much-need kidney transplant.
A source close to the situation reveals that the 35-year-old will definitely need his kidneys replaced as he's currently on dialysis.

But Lamar has made some progress. "He can say a few words," the source tells Us Weekly. "He's doing a tiny bit better, but he has a very long road back to full recovery — if that."

A different insider shares that the father-of-two's kidneys are not even the greatest cause for concern. It remains unknown just how much damage Lamar's brain sustained from the strokes he reportedly suffered.
"That's the most serious thing he's dealing with," the insider says.
We hope the former reality star continues to get the care he needs in order to bounce back from this terrible ordeal.
