Instead of the "Candy Shop," 50 Cent needs to head to some pitching lessons.
The 38-year-old rapper threw out the first pitch on Tuesday before the New York Mets faced the Pittsburgh Pirates at Citi Field — and, well, let’s just say he should stick to rapping.
He awkwardly threw the ball to the far left of the catcher — as many of the Mets players and onlookers looked puzzled, wondering if what they just saw actually happened.
50’s response? A big ‘ol smile, followed by a laugh. He also took some time out to sign baseballs for a few fans.
The incident takes place a little more than two weeks before he’s set to perform at Citi Field following one of the Mets’ games on June 14.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun for me to perform here at Citi Field,” said the entertainer, whose fifth studio album, Animal Ambition, drops next week. “This is the first time I’m performing at home in Queens.”
