Aaron Carter Involved in Scary Car Accident — “Life Is Really So Precious”

Pop star Aaron Carter is recovering from a scary car accident. The “I Want Candy” singer shared the news of his injuries on Twitter but assured fans he is doing fine.

“Life is really so precious,” he wrote. “I just got into a terrible accident and completely totaled my BMW M4.” He also revealed all the airbags in his car went off, leaving him “cut up all over.” For more details on his serious injuries, check out the video below.

Aaron, 29, was arrested earlier this summer with ex-girlfriend Madison Parker for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. However, he denied the charges or that he has a drug problem. “I don’t need help,” he said. “What I need is for people to understand that I’m human and that I make mistakes just like every other human in this world, but I would never risk my life or my girlfriend’s life.”

He blamed the arrest on a driving a cheap car that kept stalling. Nick Carter‘s little brother also denied being under the influence of alcohol and claims he smokes to help with his medical issues. “I smoke it for anxiety,” he said. “I smoke it to eat.”

His latest accident seems to have caused him to lay low on social media to focus on his new album. “I’m gonna disappear for a little while,” Aaron wrote. “This will be my first album in 14 years, I’m going to spend the rest of the year putting the final touches on ‘LøVë’ the Album. Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing treats from my new album. I’m very proud of this project and people like to talk, I would prefer that everyone will start talking about how great my music is, as opposed to what is going on with me personally… I’ll be in touch.”
