A true gentleman! Tyler Cameron got candid about why it was a no-brainer for him to respect Hannah Brown’s boundaries when she told the handsome hunk she didn’t want to be intimate in the fantasy suite. “She said she didn’t want to have sex, and I was like 100 percent,” the 26-year-old confessed to Paper magazine, in an interview published on Friday, December 13.
Shortly afterward, people took to social media to praise the Bachelorette alum for being so caring toward the 25-year-old blonde beauty. “But the response to that was so big, which is scary,” Tyler admitted. “No is no. So, it was just honoring her and being true to that. This should be normal. We should not even bat an eye at it.”
While some would call the model a dream come true, Tyler doesn’t see it that way. So much so, he believes the male species needs to be kinder to women. “Men need to step up,” he stated. “Men need to call each other out. That’s what I say my friends are good about — they have no problem calling me out on my s—t. They’ll humble me quickly. I think we do need to keep each other accountable and humble each other.”
However, if you’re expecting a reunion to happen between the Florida native and the DWTS alum, don’t hold your breath. Even though the former flames are now single — Tyler and Gigi Hadid split this summer while Hannah called off her engagement in August — the reality star recently wiped his Instagram clean of any photos he had with the Alabama native.
Even though the two didn’t work out, it’s a bit surprising Tyler wanted to cut the cord since he constantly complimented and adored her. In October, Tyler gave an update on where things stood with the beauty queen. “We’re friends, and I think she’s an incredible girl, and I have so much love for her, and I want her to be successful and have the best,” he told Us Weekly at the time.
One month later, the duo attended the People’s Choice Awards, but Hannah was unfazed when she had to interact with her ex. “I actually saw him with his mom, and I said hello to them,” she told Life & Style and other reporters. “So, I think it’s really sweet that he brought his mom.”
Well, even though Hannah and Tyler might not be a couple IRL at the moment, at least we know good guys like Tyler exist. Um, sign us up, please!
