The chemistry is undeniable! In the first footage from the new season of The Bachelorette, Clare Crawley can be seen making out with contestant Dale Moss, who Life & Style revealed she threatened to quit the show for after “falling in love.” Seeing their passionate kiss in the trailer, it’s easy to understand why these two got engaged!

Less than two weeks into filming the show, Clare knew she found Mr. Right in the former NFL baller. “People are wondering if it was love at first sight when she and Dale met up in Palm Springs,” a source previously told Life & Style exclusively. Once she knew he was The One, she didn’t see a need to continue dating other men — even just for the sake of the show.

“She told producers she no longer wanted to participate in the show,” another insider told us, adding that she “refused to come out of her room” to continue shooting.

While it seems like Clare got her happily ever after, cutting her season short caused panic among the production team. Producers were “blindsided” and left “scrambling to figure out what to do,” the source explained.

Luckily, they found a fantastic replacement to continue the season with: Tayshia Adams! Producers wanted to “match [Tayshia] up with the bachelors who are left,” from Clare’s group. “Execs hope the guys will still want to participate,” an insider told us. It seems like enough of the men were OK with it to continue filming the season, although ABC is still keeping it hush-hush as to how they’ll handle Clare’s exit.

Regardless, Bachelor Nation is excited to have Tayshia as the new lead. Franchise fave Ashley Iaconetti supported Tayshia as a “really good” choice before Clare was chosen. “She is just so likable … she’s just pretty fantastic,” the Bachelor in Paradise alum previously told Life & Style. “I don’t think anybody has met Tayshia and been like, ‘Eh, she’s mediocre.’” Ashley’s husband, Jared Haibon, agreed, adding, “Tayshia is a really good pick.”

We can’t wait to see both ladies’ wild seasons!
