Nearly two decades after the premiere of Baywatch, the cast could totally still rock those infamous red swimsuits!
With a movie version of the '90s television series just around the corner, fans are reminiscing about their favorite fictional lifeguards.
From C.J. Parker, played by the one and only Pamela Anderson, to David Hasselhoff's Matt Buchannon, running in slow-mo never looked better thanks to these beach babes.
Pamela, who starred on the TV show from 1992-1997, will be making a cameo in the big screen remake, but she is not a fan of Dwayne Johnson filling in those infamous red swim trunks or the movie in general.
“I’m doing a cameo at the end. They asked me to. But I like the TV show. I never wanted to do the movie, I don’t like when they do these remakes of TV shows because it was bad TV for a reason. It was good bad TV, now it’s going to be a spoofy movie,” she told ITV's Loose Women. "It was funny to look at The Rock and think he was supposed to be (David) Hasselhoff. It just didn’t quite gel, no.”
However, David, 64, who is also making a return to Baywatch, is a bit more excited about the film.
"It’s going to be different. It’s going to be campy. It’s going to be fun," he told People magazine. "The action is going to far be superior to Baywatch because they’ve got the movies behind them.”
He continued, "We did some stuff that’s going to be all over the social media at the end where I was running in slow motion and then gave them the rescue can. They did a big test of the movie, and they said that when I came on, there was a nice reaction."
