We stan a body-positive queen! Actress Bella Thorne bravely opened up about how her stress was affecting her health and weight in a lengthy Instagram post on Jan. 4. While Bella has always been super open and confident when it came to showing off her body, she shared some old photos that she admits make her cringe to look back at. That’s because she wasn’t her healthiest self in them. Scroll through the gallery to see her weight transformation!

“This is what I look like when I’m stressed.”
Bella shared several photos on Instagram from “2016? 2017?” when she was super stressed out. “When I’m stressed, it’s hard for me to work up an appetite,” she confessed. “I’m all about being yourself, loving your body, yada yada… but these photos, they make me not love anything about it.”

“What life can do to you.”
Bella was incredibly thin in the throwbacks, and she blames her hectic career and life for the less-than-healthy look. “Looking back on these times and what this biz, and movies, and life, can do to you and everything along with that,” she mused.

“2018 was about getting my health back.”
But Bella doesn’t look like this anymore. “You know, I look at this picture and I’m also proud,” she continued. “I’m so f–king proud, because this year I gained all my weight back and more!!!!”

But there are still changes to make.
“I feel good, but I do feel like I need to get back in the gym so I can be healthier in general,” she admitted, proving health is always an ongoing process. “Eating the right things (double quarter pounders not included) so my body has the energy it needs to keep moving forward.”

Bella is practically glowing these days, clearly feeling so much stronger, happier, and healthier!
