After 65 years of hiding and two years of transitioning, Caitlyn Jenner finally feels like her “authentic self!” The former Kardashian patriarch fulfilled a lifelong dream on Oct. 27, and we’re seriously so thrilled for her!

Cait took to Instagram to post a video of herself walking down the beach in nothing but a sexy low-cut black bathing suit and a glam straw hat. When she gets to the camera, she gives a twirl and shouts “free!” She’s absolutely beaming and looks so proud of her new body.

“40 years ago my therapist asked me what my fantasy is,” Cait explained in the caption. “I told her walking on the beach being my authentic self.” 40 years later and she finally did it! It was clear from the video that Cait has completed her transition, and she couldn’t be happier!

This touching moment has been two years in the making. Caitlyn revealed that she was transitioning from male to female in 2015, when her explosive Vanity Fair cover hit news stands. At that point, she had had the top surgery to get breasts. In April 2017 she released her memoir The Secrets of My Life, and in it she made it clear that she did plan to get the bottom surgery. “I just want to have all the right parts,” she said. “I am also tired of tucking in the damn thing all the time.”

Just days after the book was released, she sat down for an interview with Diane Sawyer where she confirmed that she has fully transitioned. “No regrets, none whatsoever,” she said. “[I’m] happy, peaceful, all of that confusion has left me. I did the right thing.” Now, she finally gets to dress the way she wants and go to the beach feeling feminine and beautiful. Congrats, Caitlyn!
