Madelaine Petsch revealed Chad Michael Murray gave her some “secret advice” about being in the industry while they were on the set of Riverdale, she told Life & Style exclusively while promoting her Privé Revaux M3 Collection launching on May 27. However, the red-headed beauty decided to stay mum on what exactly he told her — darn!
The House of Wax alum, 37, recently joined the cast as Edgar Evernever but the 24-year-old actress didn’t know much about the TV series that started his career — One Tree Hill. “I did not watch OTH,” she confessed. However, she did see him in other films when she was younger. “A Cinderella Story is a phenomenal film that we all know and love. So, I mean, yes, but then I remember when we started working together, he started naming all of these other films that he was in that I totally forgot about like Freaky Friday,” she said. “Yeah, and I remember that one. He tells me all of these great stories about OTH, as he calls it. He’s really great.”
The sunglasses designer couldn’t be happier having the heartthrob on set. “I thought it was an interesting twist for Edgar. I was like, ‘Wow, he’s so young,'” she dished. “But I didn’t know how they were going to take it to all these different places then. He’s the most professional and kind human being, and he gives the best advice, and he fits seamlessly into our group.”
