Nice try, haters! Despite the fact that Danielle Bregoli’s new makeup deal with CopyCat Beauty has faced backlash from trolls suggesting they rip off other brands, the “Gucci Flip Flops” rapper, 15, is here to set the record straight.

“It’s not a rip-off. They are not knocking it off and not saying that is what it is. It’s not like they are trying to like … yeah, it’s called CopyCat Beauty, like what do you think? You know what I am saying? Duh. No one is trying to hide it,” Danielle told Life & Style.

The newly-minted cosmetics mogul, who also goes by Bhad Bhabie, went on to explain how she snagged the exciting (and quite lucrative) deal with CopyCat. “When I was younger, I loved makeup so much, and then as I got older, I just kind of drifted away from it, but then as I am getting older again and I have a little bit of money, I could get, like, more expensive brands, I noticed that I love using drugstore makeup more than I like using, like, Dior or something like crazy like that,” Danielle expressed.

“So when [CopyCat] approached me and was like ‘OK, we are affordable and it’s the same quality as this other stuff, you know, we are just more affordable.’ I was like, ‘alright cool!’” Danielle detailed. “I am out here spending money on s–t that is literally not that great when usually the drugstore is better. The cheaper and more affordable stuff is always better, honestly. So, I was like, y’all ain’t bulls–tting, so … I will do it with you. Sure, why not?”

As for whether or not Danielle actually uses the products she promotes? She sure does! “Well, I get my makeup done and the girl that does my makeup, we have been using the CopyCat stuff. Sometimes she uses some of her stuff, too, but we use the CopyCat stuff.”
