Everyone wants to know the secret to having a flat belly, and judging by celebrities and their rock hard abs, it appears they know the secret. But what is it? Is it working out all the time, juice cleanses, and weird fad diets? Surprisingly, it’s not.

Instead, many celebs swear by certain key foods that contribute to reducing water weight, bloating, and other factors that attribute to a large, protruding tummy.

For example, Kourtney Kardashian swears by green tea lattes with almond milk. It seems like a strange item to contribute to abs, but there’s apparently a lot of nutrients packed in green tea that many might not know about. The caffeine in tea is known to boost your metabolism for up to two hours. Many nutritionists recommend drinking it in the morning instead of coffee. It’s even better if you drink it by itself since it has zero calories.

Along with oolong tea, green tea is also packed with amazing antioxidants that can help block the oxidation of bad cholesterol and lower your risk for heart disease. But of course, tea isn’t exactly some kind of magic potion. And the only reason Kourtney drinks it is because she says she hates coffee.

“I get really hyper and really on edge when I drink it, so I stopped drinking it when I was 21 or 22,” she revealed in a post on her app.

Although she credits tea lattes for her awesome abs, your own individual results might vary. So if you don’t immediately look like a Kardashian after a few trips to Argo Tea, don’t feel disappointed.
