Every year, teenager Milo gets special birthday pancakes from his parents, which are always documented on camera. And as he turns 15, the transgender student is using those past photos to share his coming out story and transformation with the world.

“My family was super supportive (I’m really lucky),” Milo wrote on his Tumblr. “Some little girls aren’t little girls, it just takes us a while to realize it.”
Milo just came out as transgender to his family last year and reveals, "doing so saved my life."
So far his "pancake post" has over 190,000 notes since it was posted on Jan. 4. Milo's blog has exploded from 350 followers to more than 8,000.
Under one particular image he writes, “If you can’t tell from the picture, 14 was a bad year for me. For every kid feeling like I was, please just wait, just wait cause one day you’ll realize just how worth it the wait was.”
His advice to parents of trans kids? “Support them without a second doubt. Buy them new clothes, respect name changes – parents are the biggest influence no matter what anyone says. Just be positive, please,” he writes.
