Could ‘Lizzie McGuire’ Be The Next Show To Get A Reboot? Hilary Duff Says There’s Been ‘Some Conversations’
This is what dreams are made of! Hilary Duff revealed in a new interview that there might be a chance that a Lizzie McGuire reboot could be in the works and OMG, we just got super excited.
“There’s been some conversations. It’s definitely not a go. I don’t want to get everyone wild talking about it,” Hilary revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “I mean, I love [Lizzie] so much. I think she was so important to girls at an important time in their life. If she could be important to them at this age, I think that would be amazing.” Preach, girl!
So, what is Lizzie up to today? “There’s been lots of conversations about that. I’m racking my brain. I don’t think she’s a mom yet, but she might be getting there soon,” the 31-year-old confessed.
Even though nothing is set in stone, the actress said, “it could be a possibility, or it could be nothing, so we’ll see.” Well, we’ll be over here dreaming of what a modern-day reunion would be like. Hopefully, Gordo and Lizzie are married and living happily ever after!
For now, Hilary has her hands full with her little girl, Banks Violet, who was born on Oct. 25. She is trying to balance being a mother of two, but luckily, she doesn’t have to worry about her son, Luca, because he seems to adore his little sister. “Honestly, it’s like she’s always been there. Obviously, a newborn needs their mom the most and when I start to feel bad that she consumes most of my time, I look at him, and he’s totally fine,” the Younger star confessed.
She continued, “He’s so loving towards her and is always like, holding her face, and wants to hold her. When she starts to cry, he’s like, ‘Mom, she’s gonna blow! Get her!’ It’s really sweet. It’s like she’s always been there and he’s just cool.” Aw, so cute!
In the meantime, we’ll be over here crossing our fingers that the Lizzie McGuire gang gets back together ASAP.
