Jaimie Alexander Gets a MASSIVE Tattoo of a… Beetle?

Jaimie Alexander may be covered in fake tattoos for her NBC show Blindspot, but the actress went under the needle for real this week, getting a giant beetle inked on her hip.

Brooklyn-based tattoo artist, Joshua Lord, shared a photo of the tat on Instagram, revealing that it's actually a scarab beetle, which was regarded as sacred in ancient Egypt.

"I had the honor of doing a real tattoo on @jaimiealexander while #jenn and B Paul kept us laughing way too much. Thanks everyone who watched the live feed of the tattoo during the commercials #gracelandbrooklyn #eastsideink #blindspot #jaimiealexander #scarab #coveruptattoo," he captioned the pic.

Jaimie previously revealed it takes seven hours and three artists to apply her fake ink for the show. See how she removes it all in the video below!
