Jennifer Aniston Is ‘All About Taking Care Of Herself’ Following Divorce From Justin Theroux, Source Says
You go, girl! According to Us Weekly magazine, Jennifer Aniston is thriving following her highly publicized divorce from Justin Theroux. “She’s doing her thing exactly the way she wants to do it and really enjoying life,” a source revealed to the publication.
“Jen is very comfortable with where she is and believes that whatever her path is, it will present itself the way it should. She’s all about taking care of herself,” the source added.
Jen and Justin called it quits back in February after less than three years of marriage. Unfortunately, the 47-year-old faced a great deal of backlash at the time, as this was her second divorce. Jennifer was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.
“It’s pretty crazy,” the former Friends star mused to InStyle back in August. “The misconceptions are ‘Jen can’t keep a man,’ and ‘Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career.'” She continued: “Or that I’m sad and heartbroken. First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally.”
Jen then went on to explain the unfair bias placed on women to become parents. “There is a pressure on women to be mothers, and if they are not, then they’re deemed damaged goods. Maybe my purpose on this planet isn’t to procreate. Maybe I have other things I’m supposed to do.”
Well said, Jen, well said! At the end of the day, it seems as though she’s doing just fine. As for Justin? Well, an inside source previously revealed to Life & Style that there’s some major flirtation going on between him and Angelina Jolie. If that’s not the most twisted love triangle, er, square, ever — we don’t know what is!
