Fans Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Talking About Jessica Simpson’s Lips but Like, Can She Live?
Haters gonna hate! This time of year tends to be pretty busy, so Jessica Simpson made sure to carve out some R&R time for herself. The 37-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 13 to snap a quick self-care photo, but all people seem to be talking about are her inflated lips! Unfortunately, Jessica is no stranger to those pesky plastic surgery rumors. Back in October, Life & Style talked to a few experts who weighed in on what the pop star might’ve had done. Although none of them had worked with Jessica personally, they agreed she’s made minimal changes.
“I don’t see any dramatic change, which is a win,” NYC-area plastic surgeon Dr. Steve Fallek told Life & Style of the singer-turned-fashion-mogul. But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had help, of course. Both Dr. Fallek and Michigan-based plastic surgeon Dr. Danielle DeLuca-Pytell agree that signs of Botox are present.
Jess’ pout (which she’s admitted to plumping in the past) looks fuller. “The lower lip should be slightly larger than the upper,” said Dr. DeLuca-Pytell. “The reversal of normal anatomy is a telltale sign of injections,” which can run $625 per syringe.
Recently, the mother of two was slammed for another photo she posted on Instagram, this time for letting her five-year-old daughter, Maxi, try on makeup at a MAC Cosmetics store. “I think it’s horrible to let a girl who’s 5 wear makeup but I guess that’s just my opinion,” one commenter wrote, while another fumed, “Her favorite store??! OMG. She should be playing outside or learning about the world… not sitting in a chair putting on makeup at MAC. What’s wrong with you?!” A third chimed in, “Jessica I honestly don’t know about u and your parenting choices girl. Putting your daughter in makeup? And dark lipstick? Let Maxi be a kid. She deserves a normal childhood.”
Sigh, she’s a great mama and looks fab! And the docs agree. “She looks great,” praised Dr. Goldenberg. “Younger than her actual age!” In other words, let her LIVE, people!
