Kim Kardashian Gets Mom-Shamed For Letting North, 5, Wear Makeup: ‘She’s Too Young’
Another day, another Kim Kardashian controversy! The KKW Beauty mogul took to Instagram on Tuesday, Oct. 9, to share a sweet mommy-and-me picture with North West. Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for the haters to come out in full force, slamming the reality star for allowing her daughter to wear makeup.
“Why’s your daughter wearing makeup? She’s too young,” one person wrote. Another added, “Agreed. Not mentally healthy to do to a baby,” while a third chimed in, “I don’t care what anyone says. Dressing this kid up, making her be ‘fashionable,’ makeup and hair to go out is too much at five years old. Yes, I played with makeup as a kid, BUT I was at home. And no one forced me to be fashionable at five. Let’s teach our kids that there [are] more important things than the way they look.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time the 37-year-old received backlash online for posting a photo with her firstborn. Most recently, she was accused of favoritism after sharing a throwback pic of Nori. “Can’t deal with her favoritism,” one person commented. “Why was I thinking the same lol it’s always the firstborns!” another agreed. A third and fourth chimed in, “You have two other babies also” and “What about Chicago?”
Sheesh, everyone’s a critic! Yet despite the trolls, it seems like the five-year-old enjoys playing with her mama’s makeup. In fact, she was just recently spotted doing a bit of contouring — all in the name of fun, of course! In other words, relax people. We’re sure Kimmie is doing a great job parenting her baby girl.
