Brunettes Have More Fun? Kim Zolciak Looks Unrecognizable With New Dark ‘Do

She’s crossed over to the dark side, y’all! On Monday, March 11, Kim Zolciak took to Instagram to show off her new brunette hairstyle in a striking selfie with daughter Brielle Biermann. “Fun facts: I had dark hair — almost black — until I was about 15, that’s when I started coloring it! My mom is a hairdresser, so I was always playing around with color,” the Don’t Be Tardy star, 40, wrote.

“I went blonder and blonder and have never looked back! I don’t miss the dark hair. Although, I would take it over all my gray now any day.” Given Kim’s caption, it’s safe to assume that her new look is just a wig. Even so, fans went crazy for it. “I love you with dark hair, too! So beautiful, Kim,” commented one user. “LOVE the dark hair! Wowza!” added another.

TBH, we totally have to agree with the internet on this one. Not only do Kim’s green eyes pop with brown hair, but the chestnut shade also looks flawless with the Bravolebrity’s complexion. If she is in fact wearing a wig, Kim should seriously considering crossing over to #TeamBrunette for real.

While fans are no doubt in favor of Kim’s most recent transformation, the mother-of-six has definitely caused some concern with her looks in the past. At the end of 2018, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared a selfie with noticeably larger looking lips. Unfortunately for Kim, the “natural beauty” police were up in arms.

“Do you realize how beautiful and young you look without makeup and injections?” one hater wrote, while another commented: “You are way cuter without all the overdone lip injections. Natural beauty is better.” Seeing as Kim is happily married to uber-hunk and NFL star Kroy Biermann, we hardly think she’s seeking validation from strangers on social media. Nice try, though! Keep doing your thing, Kim. You look fabulous no matter what.
