Nicole Richie, Kris Jenner Attend Jennifer Lawrence's Rehearsal Dinner

Celebrating their love! Jennifer Lawrence and her fiancé, Cooke Maroney, are set to walk down the aisle this weekend during a star-studded wedding. But before they say, “I do,” the couple gathered with all of their closest celebrity friends for a rehearsal dinner on Friday, October 18.

Powerhouse singer Adele, actress Cameron Diaz and husband Benji Madden, Nicole Richie and husband Joel Madden and Sienna Miller and her boyfriend, Lucas Zwirner, were all spotted boarding boats to the rehearsal dinner. The event took place at Gurney’s Newport Resort & Marina in Rhode Island, Us Weekly reported, and even Kris Jenner was in attendance.

J. Law, 29, and Cooke, 35, are set to get married on Saturday, October 19. The couple started dating in the spring of 2018, and less than a year later, the art dealer popped the question to the Hunger Games star in February 2019. Their engagement was confirmed after Jen was spotted out wearing a huge diamond sparkler on that finger.

While their engagement seemed quick, a source revealed Jennifer knew almost immediately that Cooke was her person. “Jen and Cooke are the perfect couple,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style about the duo at the time. “[Jen] says that she knew pretty quickly that he was the one. His family adores her and vice versa.”

In June, the X-Men: Apocalypse actress gushed about her relationship with Cooke during an appearance on her friend Catt Sadler‘s podcast, “Naked with Catt Sadler,” and Jen revealed whether she will change her last name after their nuptials.

“He’s the greatest human being I’ve ever met. He really is and he gets better. I started with the basics. How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind? He’s just the one,” she said. “I know that sounds really stupid but he’s the greatest person I’ve ever met so I feel very honored to become a Maroney. Probably legally but not going to change it in my titles and everything. I’m not going to ask everyone to do a 180 11 years in.”

The couple hosted an engagement party in May, and they sparked wedding rumors when they were spotted at New York City’s marriage bureau on September 16, according to Us Weekly.
