Nikki Bella Fights With Artem in Dress She Wore With John Cena

Seeing repeats! Nikki Bella got into an explosive argument with Artem Chigvintsev in a sneak peek of the Thursday, May 7 episode of Total Bellas. Weirdly enough, the WWE babe wore the same dress on a date with ex-fiancé John Cena shortly before their split. We’re not saying the dress is cursed, but we’ll let you be the judge.

“I did nothing wrong,” the 36-year-old says to her sister, Brie, in the clip. The starlet’s identical twin pointed out that Artem, 37, thought she “flirted with another guy.” Brie is then seen chasing after the Dancing With the Stars pro in an attempt to smooth things over, but he continued to walk away and said he’s “done.” The mom-of-one admitted in her confessional, “The minute you get my sister to a place that she has to defend herself, game over.”

Nikki’s fight with Artem goes down in a nightclub and the starlet confirmed on Instagram she was “drunk” during the ordeal, which means it happened before November when she found out she is pregnant. The sisters announced in June 2019 that their series was renewed — so their night out most likely happened over the summer.

In the clip, Nikki is wearing a silver minidress with a cowl neckline. The last time she rocked the sparkly frock was on the arm of the 43-year-old WWE champ in April 2018. The pair walked the red carpet together for the wrestler’s film Blockers. Shortly after their public appearance, the couple called off their engagement just one month before their wedding was supposed to take place. They briefly rekindled their six-year romance but ended things for good the following June.

Of course, the dress can’t be that cursed because Nikki and Artem moved on from their fight and went on to get engaged in November. Her relationship with the Russian stud is much different than it was when she was dating John. The starlet reflected on her “regrets” about her longtime romance in her and Brie’s new book, Incomparable.

“I wish I’d known myself better before I got into it,” Nikki wrote about her relationship with John. “I wish I’d understood how the patterns in my life, and my relationship with my own father, informed how I react to love, boundaries and feelings of abandonment.” The brunette beauty added that she felt “pathologically lonely” during her time with the Trainwreck actor.

“I just didn’t know how to identify the emotion. And I certainly didn’t know how to ask for what I needed,” Nikki continued. “I was intent on fitting into the contours of my ex’s very busy and big life. That was paramount to me, pleasing and keeping him content, not voicing my own needs. He had no idea I wasn’t getting what I needed because I never said anything.”

Despite a few hiccups along the way, it’s great to see Nikki so happy with Artem!
