Grease star Olivia Newton-John was recently diagnosed with breast cancer after over 20 years in remission. Her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, spoke out on social media following the news and was instantly accused of being self-centered for posting photos of herself smiling while her mother was sick.
She instantly hit back at her critics while reigniting longstanding plastic surgery rumors.
"Some woman commented that I couldn't post happy pictures of myself because of what my mother is going through. I am so sad and no one has any idea what I am going through," she wrote. "My mom is fine and the one thing she told me is to keep being creative positive and take my mind off anything negative."
She then went on to inform her followers that she will be taking some time off from social media because she was angered by the accusations.
"I'll miss you. I'll be back soon," she added. "Just wanted U to see my mamas great! And set your worries at ease."
As for the plastic surgery rumors, she recently opened up about her transformation and revealed she felt "mutilated" following a few botched procedures, including breast implants, Botox, and a nose job.
“All those things were a disaster,” she told Woman’s Day. “Not only did the lip implants look ridiculous, the first boob op I had in Australia when I was 18 left me looking mutilated.”
However, today, after spending reported $415,000 on cosmetic surgery, she is looking feeling better than ever.
“Now I’m a 32DD and I love my body and love showing my new boobs off,” she shared. “Mom supported my surgery decisions because she knew how unhappy I was before.”
