Up All Night! Sofia Richie Complains She ‘Can’t Sleep’ Amid Scott Disick Split
Moving on is hard to do. Sofia Richie admitted she’s been having trouble sleeping on Thursday, August 20, amid her split from on-and-off boyfriend Scott Disick.
“Can’t sleep. Any good movie suggestions … ?” the model, 21, wrote on her Instagram Story around 2:30 a.m. PST. The up-and-coming actress will be celebrating her 22nd birthday on August 24 and spent the prior day playing pickleball and hanging out with a pal.
Life & Style confirmed in May that the model and Flip It Like Disick star, 37, split after nearly three years together. Their breakup came a few weeks after Scott’s short stint in a Colorado rehabilitation facility in late April. Although he checked himself into treatment for emotional traumas surrounding the death of his parents, Bonnie and Jeffrey, he left the facility after less than a week following his location being leaked to the public.
Scott and Sofia reconnected over 4th of July weekend and were photographed eating lunch together at Nobu in Malibu before attending a party together. “They don’t want to jump into a full-blown relationship or anything like that,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style at the time. “They’re taking baby steps and are spending time together and seeing where it goes.”
However, their brief reconciliation fizzled out weeks later. “Scott and Sofia have been off and on for two months and now have broken up for good,” an insider told Us Weekly on August 19.
In the meantime, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been vacationing with ex Kourtney Kardashian. The reality stars, who share kids Mason, Penelope and Reign, took their family to Balboa Island in Newport Beach, California, in late July. They then headed to Idaho for another trip the following month.
A second insider exclusively told Life & Style that Scott has been “leaning” on Kourtney, 41, “more and more” since his rehab stay. “Their dynamic is that she likes to care for him and he depends on her for support,” the insider said about the exes, who dated on-and-off since 2006.
It looks like Scott and Sofia are starting new chapters … separately.
