Havana-Ooo-La-La! Camila Cabello Is Happily In Love With Her British Boyfriend And They’re So Sweet Together
Someone’s heart is no longer just in Havana! Camila Cabello’s boyfriend is Matthew Hussey, and the two have kept things pretty low-key since they started dating last February. The singer has decided to give fans a look into her almost-year-long relationship with the dating expert. That’s right, he’s literally an expert dater so he must make a pretty fantastic beau.
Camila can vouch for that because she gushed about how great of a pair the two make and admitted to being “in love.” She said in the 2018 holiday edition of Marie Claire, “He’s so similar to me … In person, we’re just weird and silly and stupid together. He makes me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.”
The former Fifth Harmony singer explained that Matthew was able to connect with her on all levels. “Basically, there’s the me that I really am, on the inside, which is the nerdy one — the kind of introverted, shy one — and then there’s the sexy, overly confident one, doing great dance moves and being super sassy.”
The Brit still makes the singer feel like their relationship is brand new. “Any time he’s there, I get super nervous. I stutter or my hands are shaky,” she admitted. “It’s annoying, because we’ve been together for kind of, like, a long time now, but every time, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I have to talk now.'”
For now, the two seem like they have a great relationship and are happy together. Camila is also winning at her career. Right now, she’s on Taylor Swift’s Reputation tour and has received nothing but glowing reviews from Swift herself.
“She’s killing it right now, and she will continue to kill it. But beyond that, she’s one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my entire life. She’s such a wonderful, incredible, honest, generous, graceful, hilarious, enthusiastic, childlike, and yet mature person, and I’m so happy she’s on this tour,” Swift told Camila’s hometown of Miami. Um, OK, any friend of Swifty’s is a friend of mine. Camila is also touring to promote her debut album, Camila.
