Scott Disick and Sofia Richie ‘Talked’ About Getting Married, but She’s Still ‘Very Young’
After two years, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie seem rock solid, but don’t hold your breath for them to get engaged or married anytime soon. The couple is perfectly content with their relationship and don’t plan on taking the plunge right now, according to an insider from Us Weekly.
“Scott feels like, ‘Why change something if it is working?'” a source confessed about the Flip It Like Disick star, 36. He and the 20-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie have a very prominent age gap, which also contributes to the duo wanting to take their time before walking down the aisle. “Sofia is still, obviously, very young,” the source noted.
That’s not to say that the gorgeous pair haven’t talked about the possibility of taking the next big step in the future. The idea of marriage is “still talked about between Scott and Sofia and between the other members of the Kardashian family.” Considering Scott shares three children — Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4, — with Kourtney Kardashian, it’s not surprising that the other Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars would have an opinion if he were to ever get hitched.
It took some time for Sofia and the Poosh founder to get comfortable with each other, which Scott admitted took “a toll” on him in a recent KUWTK trailer, but the blonde bombshell has seemingly assimilated into the family. She’s now great pals with Kylie Jenner and the two are spotted hanging out frequently. The Frankies Bikinis model even tagged along on a luxe Kylie Skin-themed girls trip to Turks and Caicos where they called themselves “twins.”
“Kylie and Sofia have always run in the same circle and are very close in age, so they’ve bonded a lot through the years,” a separate insider told Us Weekly on July 20. “They’ve always been in the limelight, lived very similar lifestyles and grown up around a lot of the same people.”
It seems as though Sofia is here to stay!
