The 26-year-old is extremely accomplished for such a young age. He has his MBA from Florida Atlantic University and was even drafted by the Baltimore Ravens before he had to permanently quit football because of a shoulder injury. He appeared on Nick Viall‘s podcast “The Viall Files” and opened up a bit about his chances to be the next leading man. “The Bachelor is a possibility,” Nick bluntly stated to which Tyler simply responded, “Yeah.” However, it would not be a decision that he would take lightly. “I don’t know,” he began after being asked if he would say yes to the opportunity. “I’m all over the map about that one. I have a lot of things I have to sit down and think about. It’s a lot of responsibility. It’s a great opportunity but comes with a lot of responsibility. My main focus now is [my charity].”

He’s obviously a strong contender to be the next Bachelor after winning the heart of Hannah and fans at home. Although the Alabama beauty broke up with him before he could get down on one knee, they briefly rekindled their flame during After the Final Rose. During the finale, Hannah got engaged to Jed Wyatt but ended their relationship when she realized he lied about the extent of his relationship with his ex Haley Stevens. When Hannah and Tyler saw each other for the first time since their split, sparks were flying and it ended with the former beauty queen asking her ex out for a drink. Time will tell if anything cooks up between the two of them.

Fans are fully here for him to become the next Bachelor. “If Tyler C. is the next Bachelor … sorry to my boyfriend,” a Twitter user joked. Someone else gushed, “Tyler C. might be one of the best contestants in Bachelor history.” Another fan added, “I would literally give up a toe to be a contestant on The Bachelor if [it] was Tyler C.”

Another glimmer of hope came through when Reality Steve reported that multiple sources came forward after a Bachelorette viewing party in Florida and claimed that Tyler’s mom dished that her hunky son was in the running to be next season’s lead. Since it’s still so early — The Bachelor usually doesn’t premiere until January — it’s unlikely ABC has selected the new Bachelor yet, but we’ll take this as good news.

Good luck, Tyler!
