Dancing With the Stars started off a bit troublesome for Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke last night, but by the show’s end, the duo received a perfect 30 for their last dance.
Following that performance, they both broke down in tears – something that Cheryl rarely, if ever, does.
“I’ve turned the hard Cheryl Burke into a big ‘ole softie,” Jack told us after their big number. The pro dancer added with a laugh, “Yeah. I don’t know what is wrong with me. I don’t cry. Period.”

She continued, “I feel like tonight was literally his journey all in one night. It started rough in the beginning and ended with a perfect score. Literally if someone tuned in tonight, this is Jack Osbourne’s story.”
The pair scored a 24/30 for their jive (judges' pick) and placed third during their samba relay. But Jack, who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis, said it all “clicked” when they went onstage to perform their last number – a Fred Astaire-inspired freestyle.
“When you’re dancing and it clicks, you feel like, ‘I can do this.’ It’s cool. It clicked,” he said.
Cheryl explained that they decided to go with the type of dance because “no one had ever done it before, surprisingly.”
“Jack is great at this stuff and I knew I had to spice it up. I couldn’t stay at that slow tempo,” she said. “We really wanted to show the journey of how far Jack has come and how he’s become a dancer.”

Here's how everyone placed as of last night: Amber Riley and Derek Hough (1st), Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff (2nd), and Jack and Cheryl (3rd). Bill Engvall and Emma Slater ended up going home.
So how will Jack celebrate if he wins the Mirror Ball Trophy tonight?
“Well, it is Thanksgiving, so I am going to give thanks to Cheryl. In a weird way you don’t have time to celebrate because we get on a plane and go to NYC, and when we come back, it’s Thanksgiving. Everyone kind of goes their one way,” he told Life & Style. “What I plan to do is — if I have a Mirror Ball, which I probably won’t — I’m going to post pictures of it from all over the world.”
