Break open a bottle of Pinot all you Ramona Singer fans, as we have some pretty bad news for you all -- Ramona has reportedly been cut from the cast of Real Housewives of New York City.
According to a new report, Ramona has been demoted to a recurring character for the show's upcoming seventh season, much like fellow castmember LuAnn de Lesseps was for the show's sixth season.
"Bravo is casting the show around Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill," an insider said. "[When] Ramona carried the show, that is why ratings plummeted, they think."
The blonde reality star's $600,000 per season paycheck was also a factor in her demotion, adds the source.
This now means the New York cast will be the first in the franchise to no longer star any original cast members.
Earlier this week, it was announced Aviva Drescher had been fired from the show.
This is the latest in a line of difficult blows for Ramona, who recently called things off from her husband of 22 years, Mario, after he was spotted out AGAIN with his alleged mistress.
US Weekly broke the news.
