Third wheeling? Lady Gaga went to the Oscars solo but it didn’t matter because she hung out with Bradley Cooper and his fiancé, Irina Shayk, all night. The three appeared to be in good spirits while laughing and having a good time during the glitzy show.

Fans anxiously awaited to see who the director would bring as his date. The model missed walking the SAG Awards carpet with her beau, but she was standing right by his side for the February 24 show. As for Gaga, she walked the carpet solo and looked amazing doing it. News surfaced on February 19 that the “Born This Way” singer and her fiancé, Christian Carino, broke up. However, she wasn’t going to let that ruin her good time.

The songstress didn’t bring a date to the show but she latched on to Bradley and Irina once inside. Gaga surprisingly sat by the model instead of her co-star, but they seemed to be having a good time.

Twitter had some ~feelings~ about the, uh, unusual friendship. Most people accused the newly minted mama of trying to keep the extremely close actors separate. One person wrote, “Irina Shayk sitting between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper and girrrrrrrrl, I would be too.” Someone else noted, “Now that [Lady Gaga]’s is single, Irina Shayk makes sure she sits between her and Bradley.” Of course, a meme says a thousand words.

Obviously, the A Star Is Born co-stars are huge hits this awards season. During the Oscars, the film was named in the categories for Best Picture, Lead Actor (Bradley Cooper), Lead Actress (Lady Gaga), Supporting Actor (Sam Elliott), Adapted Screenplay (Eric Roth, Bradley Cooper, Will Fetters), Cinematography (Matthew Libatique), Sound Mixing and Original Song (“Shallow”).
