Sister Support! James Charles Attends Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Skin Launch Party Post-YouTube Scandal
Back on top? Despite the fact that Kylie Jenner unfollowed James Charles on Instagram amid his feud with Tati Westbrook, it looks like all is forgiven between the 19-year-old beauty guru and KUWTK star, 21. On Tuesday, May 21, James was spotted partying it up at Kylie’s Kylie Skin launch party in L.A.
While we can’t be certain about what caused the reconciliation, it’s likely that Kylie changed her opinion on the scandal after watching James’ “No More Lies” video where he told his side of the story. “I have never and would never and will never use my fame, money or power to manipulate or get any sexual action from a guy,” the influencer clarified of the allegations made against him.
“That is disgusting and blows my mind. And the fact that Tati brought this up blow my mind because she knows the real story,” he continued. James then followed up his video with a tweet further explaining himself. “I made my video today NOT to start a war, but to take responsibility for my actions and clear my name. There ARE two sides to every story, and now you’ve heard both,” he wrote on May 18.
Considering the Kardashians are absolutely no strangers to public feuds — ahem, Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson — we’re not entirely surprised to see the famous family embrace James with open arms. In fact, one member of the Kar-Jenner clan looked particularly thrilled to see James — Kris Jenner!
So much so, that the glammed-up duo posed for a sweet selfie. “Momager,” James captioned the snapshot on his Instagram Story. To be honest, we bet he asked Kris, 63, for some tips on career damage control. After all, if there’s anyone who knows how to spin bad press, it’s her!
