Ariana Grande Doesn’t Want to Waste Her Custom-Made Grammys Dress, Does Epic Photo Shoot From Home
Grammys, who? Despite Ariana Grande‘s recent tension with the Grammys producers, she wasn’t about to waste a custom-made Zac Posen dress. Although she didn’t attend the show, the singer modeled the dress for her social media followers from home. And, she looked gorgeous doing it.
The 25-year-old rocked a powder-blue ballgown and luxe diamond necklace. She topped the whole look with a sky-high ponytail. Her longtime friend Alfredo Flores captured all the details. “When [Zac Posen] makes u a custom gown it doesn’t matter if you’re singing or not,” the songstress captioned one of the sultry photos.
It’s definitely too epic of an outfit not to do a mini-photo shoot. Sweetener already won the Grammy for Best Pop Album during the pre-show, despite the brunette beauty not attending the awards. Camila Cabello (Camila), Kelly Clarkson (Meaning of Life), Shawn Mendes (Shawn Mendes), Pink (Beautiful Trauma) and Taylor Swift (Bad Reputation) were also nominated in the tough category.
“I know I’m not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked out TBH),” the “thank u, next” singer wrote on Twitter. “I know I said I try not to put too much weight into these things … but f—k … this is wild and beautiful. thank you so much.”
The songstress slammed the show producers after they claimed that she pulled out of performing because she didn’t have enough time to “pull something together.” She said on Twitter, “I’ve kept my mouth shut, but now you’re lying about me. I can pull together a performance overnight, and you know that, Ken. It was when my creativity & self-expression was stifled by you that I decided not to attend. I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.”
Although she didn’t attend, she still looked fierce!
