The scandal that shook Bachelor Nation. After Blake Horstmann and Caelynn Miller-Keyes‘ explosive fight on Bachelor in Paradise, their drama went offscreen. The Colorado native released a lengthy statement that told his side of the story about the two having sex during the Stagecoach Music Festival. Besides claiming that Caelynn wasn’t telling the whole truth, he also leaked a slew of alleged text messages between the two. Needless to say, it was absolutely insane. Although the alleged texts seemingly solidified what Blake was trying to say, posting intimate messages about somebody without their consent is not a good look. Fans are completely torn over the situation, but some of Blake’s closest pals from the franchise weighed in to support him.

Life & Style reached out to Caelynn Miller-Keyes for a comment but did not hear back by the time of publication.

“Through the good, bad and ugly you’ve always been a loyal friend to me and I will always be a loyal friend to you,” Jason Tartick began a lengthy statement. He and Blake were both contestants on Becca Kufrin‘s season and it’s no secret that they are extremely close pals. “These are the trying times in which you’ll learn invaluable life lessons … A disappointing time but know I’m here for you and I do believe there are two sides to every story. Another comment also came from former Bachelorette star and Jason’s current girlfriend, Kaitlyn Bristowe. The starlet is no stranger to a bit of scandal and is also very friendly with Blake. “Thank you for being vulnerable and honest,” she simply wrote.

Support came from a very surprising place when Kristina Schulman also weighed in. Before Caelynn confronted Blake during the August 6 episode, the Russian babe also aired her grievances about the stud sleeping with her one day before hooking up with the former beauty queen. “Speak your truth, no one can take that away from you,” she commented on the controversial post. Adam Gottschalk added that there are “always [two] sides to every story.” The fiancé of Raven Gates noted, “I know first hand about how editing and portraying can make things look.”

While Blake’s friends will support him through the ups and downs, that doesn’t mean they agree with everything he’s done. Paradise alum Kevin Wendt shared his take on the situation and wrote, “I know I told you last week posting these might not be the best idea … I know your anxiety was about to erupt. So I get it. … I’ll support you regardless because I know you’re a good friend and good-hearted human.”

Kevin’s girlfriend, whom he met on Paradise, Astrid Loch said that she was “glad” Blake got to share his peace, but added, “If nothing else I hope you learned from this and it helps you grow into the man I know you are.” Ben Zorn cheered on his friend and said he just has to “learn and move forward.”
