OMG! Caelynn Miller-Keyes confronted Blake Horstmann after he called having sex with her a “mistake” during an explosive fight on Bachelor in Paradise. According to the former beauty queen, he previously asked her before appearing on the show to keep their romantic past a “secret” from the rest of the cast. This rightfully didn’t sit well with Caelynn and she decided that she wasn’t going to keep quiet anymore.
“You called me a mistake,” she snapped to Blake during the August 6 episode. “Just … acknowledge me, talk to me, don’t ignore me, don’t make me feel like this dirty secret. I am walking on this beach and I am not enjoying myself because I feel like a slimy, disgusting secret I am ashamed of it. You literally told me to lie for you.”
Blake claimed that he thought they were on the same page about just being friends. “I am so sorry. I did not know you felt this way,” he said while adding that he didn’t remember calling her a “mistake.”
The biggest stab in the back for Caelynn was that she was miserable on the beach while Blake was walking around like “the king of Paradise.” She added, “I have not been enjoying myself here. I have been watching you have the time of your f—king life.” Their fight ended with no resolution and Caelynn stormed off with tears in her eyes.
Obviously, the other women were not feeling Blake after his dirty laundry was aired. “I think that Blake is a major player,” Onyeka confessed. “I think he is a smooth talker and an attractive guy and he has used that to gain the trust of these amazing women. It makes me sad that they got played by him.”
Tayshia Adams, whom Blake went on the very first date of the season with, was also less than impressed. “To be quite honest with you, Blake just lost me,” she said in a private interview. “If there was ever any chance of us working out, he just lost me. I don’t need to be dealing with these type of games. He needs to just go.”
Now that the show is airing, though, Blake is taking the opportunity to respond. “I want to get the truth out,” he wrote on Tuesday, August 6, after admitting he’s made “a lot of mistakes” over the past year. “I was not able to defend myself down in paradise because [I] and most of the beach had no idea the things Caelynn was saying in her interviews. … Caelynn and I were NEVER in a relationship. I NEVER ghosted Caelynn, I NEVER called her a mistake and I absolutely NEVER, EVER, EVER silenced Caelynn.” On his Instagram Story, he went on to share screenshots of alleged texts between the two of them where the former pageant queen seemingly propositioned him “strictly for sex.”
“This is the last thing I wanted to do, but my name and character are being attacked,” he finished. “My name is all I have. Most of all, it is the only real way to prove that what is being said by Caelynn and the story that is being shown is far from the truth.”
