A new chapter! Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin revealed she officially moved to Los Angeles following her split from fiancé Garrett Yrigoyen. She relocated to the new city, which is about 100 miles north from Carlsbad, California, where she lived with her ex.

“Hello, Los Angeles. I can’t wait to get to know you once this [coronavirus] pandemic totally stops cramping my style! Spoiler: I’m officially an L.A. resident,” the season 14 star, 30, wrote via Instagram along with a smiling photo.

Becca previously documented unpacking boxes in her new space on social media, and she’s ready to dive headfirst into the unknown. “After a crazy couple of months, I made the last-minute decision to sign a lease (sight unseen) in an area that I was totally unfamiliar with,” she continued. “But, I’m here to embrace this new adventure and put down some roots in the City of Angels during this next chapter in my life.”

After months of speculation, the B the Label designer publicly addressed her and Garrett’s breakup after their two-year engagement during the September 1 episode of her “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast with cohost Rachel Lindsay

“After many conversations, we came to this decision. It wasn’t something that we just arrived at one night,” the Bachelor Live host explained about her ex, 31. “It wasn’t based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else’s opinions or comments. There’s much more to it. To any relationship, there [are] a lot of layers, and it’s not for me to divulge details. It’s no one’s business other than what I’m telling you right now.”

Becca was referring to Garrett’s Instagram post in support of law enforcement on June 4 amid protests against police brutality following the death of George Floyd. She acknowledged at the time his comments were “tone deaf” but said he didn’t mean his statements in a “malicious way.” The reality couple have seemingly not been in the same state all summer and dropped several other clues about their uncoupling along the way.

However, the Bachelor Nation starlet said she’s “finally come to terms” with their split. “Just because we’ve arrived at this decision now doesn’t take away all of the years and the countless memories that we’ve made together,” she told Rachel. “I will always look back at this time in my life with so much gratitude and love.”

Now, Becca is looking forward to all the good eats, beach views and cocktail bars Los Angeles has to offer. Cheers to new beginnings!
