She hasn’t gone anywhere — literally. Former season 16 Bachelorette lead Clare Crawley was spotted for the first time since she passed the crown to Bachelor alum Tayshia Adams on Tuesday, August 11.

Interestingly enough, the 39-year-old was seen on set at the La Quinta Resort & Club near Palm Springs, California, where the popular dating reality series has been filming for the past month. Entertainment Tonight obtained the photos.

It is unclear whether the Sacramento native has returned to the secluded resort or has yet to leave the premises, even after her replacement was confirmed. However, Clare’s fiancé and former contestant, Dale Moss, was allegedly spotted in a clothing store in his South Dakota hometown on August 3. A few days later, Bachelor Nation fans screenshotted a photo of the 31-year-old hanging out with his dog at home.

Life & Style broke the news Clare threatened to quit the ABC series after “falling in love” with Dale only 12 days into filming the season on July 30. Production was “blindsided” when the starlet “told producers she no longer wanted to participate in the show,” an insider exclusively revealed. The same day, Life & Style broke the news the network was considering Tayshia, 29, “to replace” Clare. Their plan was to “match [Tayshia] up with the bachelors who are left” after the hairstylist’s initial cuts.

On August 3, Life & Style broke the news Clare and Dale were engaged — and that the former NFL player already proposed to the blonde beauty. Though the twosome’s timeline seemed a bit fast, a separate source exclusively revealed the pair had been “in some sort of contact” before filming began.

“Clare did reach out to him prior to him leaving again for filming. He had left originally in March and then production stopped,” the insider explained. Production on Clare’s season was halted for four months due to the coronavirus pandemic, but resumed in July. The couple’s connection prior to filming would explain how they built their bond in seemingly no time.

That being said, dating expert Maria Sullivan exclusively told Life & Style it is, in fact, possible to find your soulmate as quickly as Dale and Clare did. “It doesn’t happen too often,” the vice president of dating.com explained. “But sometimes, when a single meets the right person, they just know it is who they were meant to spend the rest of their life with.”
