Shade Alert? James Charles Shouts Out Sugar Bear Hair Following His Feud With Tati Westbrook
Here we go again! James Charles took to his Instagram Story on Thursday, May 23, to thank a number of brands for sending him birthday gifts. One such brand was none other than Sugar Bear Hair — a.k.a. Tati Westbrook’s main Halo Beauty competitor and the literal reason the two beauty gurus began feuding in the first place.
Even if James, 20, didn’t mean anything malicious by shouting out Sugar Bear, it’s pretty curious that he would even associate with the company after everything that went down between him and Tati, 37. Especially considering the former besties seemingly put an end to their ongoing (and highly publicized) battle.
Not only has Tati unlisted her scathing “Bye Sister” video that kicked off this whole mess, but James, too, vowed to move on from the situation. He even thanked Tati and Jeffree Star — who somehow managed to get involved in the drama — for apologizing about how out of hand things got.
“Thank you @jeffreestar and @glamlifeguru for your sentiments,” James tweeted on May 19. “I am on board to move on, will not speak about this further, but do hope to speak in the future when we’re all ready,” he continued. “This week was awful for all of us and I ask that the community focuses on positivity moving forward.”
As it stands, Tati has yet to comment on James’ second Sugar Bear shout out and to be honest, we doubt she will. After all, just look at what happened the first time!
That said, both parties made it clear that while they’ve forgiven each other, they have no intention of reconciling their friendship. Perhaps because of that fact, James doesn’t feel any sense of loyalty to Tati’s brand.
