Jed Wyatt Claps Back After Fan Says His New Girlfriend, Ellen, ‘Must Not Watch ‘The Bachelor’
Yikes! Former Bachelorette contestant Jed Wyatt clapped back at a fan who brought up his previous relationship with Hannah Brown after he gushed over spending the holidays with his new girlfriend, Ellen Decker. The Nashville native’s relationship with the former beauty queen crashed and burned after his ex Haley Stevens revealed that they were still dating when he left to be on the reality show and he was only doing it to further his music career. However, Jed is ready to move on and hopes the internet will, too.
The 25-year-old went public with his new girlfriend back in October and seems to be smitten over the Florida native. “Turns out time travel is possible, [five] days goes by in about 30 minutes with this one,” Jed captioned two photos of the pair snuggled up and smooching on December 24. “Merriest Christmas ever.”
“She must not watch The Bachelor,” a commenter quipped, referencing his quickie engagement to the Alabama beauty.
However, Jed was not here for the shade. “That’s what’s wrong with people like you,” he began a lengthy response. “There are real people on the other side of your ‘harmless’ comments. Regardless of a following — big or small — we are all just people.”
The country crooner added, “I think you will be happier if you take the time to spread positivity and love instead of hiding behind a profile and casting negative opinions/thoughts/or comments … Merry Christmas.”
The Bachelor Nation star may still be getting heat from fans over his tumultuous relationship with Hannah, 25, but his new romance with Ellen seems to be on the right track. He frequently travels to visit her and shares their cute date nights. Recently, the pair had a blast ice skating.
“Heart is smiling, knees are a little upset … Awesome weekend with the boothang,” he captioned a video of the two holding hands on the ice rink on December 10. “I don’t think we stopped smiling the entire [three] hours … Luckily, that’s our only sore cheeks.”
After fellow show alum commented, “Oh u [sic] in love love,” the Tennessee native simply responded, “Definitely not in like.” Aw!
It looks like Jed is ready to leave the past in the past.
