Hannah Brown’s Ex Jed Wyatt Says His ‘Heart Is Smiling’ While Ice Skating With New Girlfriend Ellen
He found love (again)! Hannah Brown‘s ex-fiancé from The Bachelorette, Jed Wyatt, gushed over his new relationship with girlfriend Ellen Decker on December 11. The aspiring country music singer documented their holiday fun while ice skating, and he seems head-over-heels about his new “boothang.” The former Bachelor Nation contestant first went public with the Miami native at the end of October.
“Heart is smiling, knees are a little upset … Awesome weekend with the boothang,” the 25-year-old captioned a video of the two holding hands on the ice rink. “I don’t think we stopped smiling the entire [three] hours … Luckily, that’s our only sore cheeks.”
Jed confirmed just how serious things are with Ellen after fellow show alum Dylan Barbour commented, “Oh u in love love.” The Tennessee native simply responded, “Definitely not in like.”
The reality star received a mixed reaction from fans about finding love with the aspiring influencer after his engagement to Hannah, 25, crashed and burned. The Alabama beauty ended things when Jed’s ex Haley Stevens revealed the extent of their relationship when he left to go on the show. “He’s moved on ladies and gents!” one person commented. “She really out here trusting this dude? LOL,” a skeptical follower added. “Clearly she has never heard of The Bachelorette,” someone else quipped.
However, it wasn’t all negative. “Love this! You two look fabulous together,” a user gushed. “Good to see you happy!” another fan echoed. “This makes my heart smile!” a separate comment read.
The two were set up by a mutual friend, whom Jed took the time to thank on November 28. “Thanks @mastro_m for introducing me to the only person to make me smile more than riding a jet ski,” the singer captioned a photo of himself and Ellen hugging on the water.
Jed has moved on and it appears Hannah has, too. Not only did she win season 28 of Dancing With the Stars, but teasers for Peter Weber‘s season of The Bachelor seemingly show the reality babe being asked by the pilot to join the cast. While fans are keeping their fingers crossed for the former leading lady to rekindle things with her ex, a source exclusively dished to Life & Style that the chances may be slim.
“Once the show was over, there was interest expressed from her, and he just said, ‘I’m not going to !’” the source explained about the reality pair. “Peter was heartbroken when Hannah let him go. Her coming on The Bachelor would .”
