Ashley Iaconetti Thinks Kelsey Weier Is ‘100 Percent Ready’ to Be the Next Bachelorette
A contender! Peter Weber‘s Bachelor contestant Kelsey Weier is ‘100 percent ready” to be the next Bachelorette, show alum Ashley Iaconetti exclusively tells Life & Style. “That girl is trying to find her husband,” adds the Bachelor Nation alum. “I don’t even think she cares about all the hoopla that comes with the show.”
At 28, Kelsey was the oldest of the pilot’s final four, and Ashley, 31, thinks her life experience would offer a better season. In addition, a lot of fans are keeping their fingers crossed for a throwback pick for season 16. “People are really craving an older cast and perhaps lead,” the former contestant from ‘ season previously acknowledged exclusively to LS while promoting her partnership with .
The former Miss Iowa wasn’t afraid to show her “emotional” side during the season — which included a little drama — but it felt very genuine, Ashley notes while giving fans a chance to with her and husband to support .
Some ladies on season 24 came under fire because it appeared that they were on the show to boost their social media following. However, Ashley dishes that Kelsey “doesn’t even know if she’d want to do [Bachelor in Paradise],” according to a conversation the two ladies had. Basically, the former Bachelor Winter Games babe is picking up genuine vibes from the beauty queen.
Kelsey made it to hometown dates but was sent packing before fantasy suites in lieu of Hannah Ann Sluss, Victoria Fuller and Madison Prewett.
“I am so sorry. I know you probably didn’t see that coming at all,” Peter, 28, told Kelsey after eliminating her. “You have been someone that has been so honest with me since the very beginning, and you deserve for me to be the exact same way for you. Believe me when you told me that you loved me, that meant the world to me, but I wasn’t there.”
The Iowa native was definitely blindsided by the leading man’s decision and confessed just how hard she had fallen for him. “I am just so in shock and so confused,” she said during a private confessional. “I didn’t expect to fall for him as hard as I did. I fell, and he didn’t. It hurts really bad.”
Kelsey may have much bigger things on the horizon. Time will tell!
