While there’s no denying that Kim Kardashian’s 2019 Met Gala look stole the show, her appearance at fashion’s biggest night out on Monday, May 6, definitely sparked a lot of plastic surgery speculation. With that, Life & Style reached out to Pamela Lipkin MD for her expert opinion on the possible procedures the KUWTK star, 38, may have had done.

Dr. Lipkin, while having never treated Kim herself, is an expert in facial plastic surgery, minimally invasive rhinoplasty and precision micro-liposuction. “In my opinion, the dress was not sewn onto her,” she began. “There are buttons in the front. It was clearly custom made and an exact fit for an unusually shaped person.”

Dr. Lipkin then went on to list a couple of procedures she believes Kim may have undergone: “Brazilian butt lift with liposuction of her entire abdomen and waist — done to an extreme,” she said.

“Such an extreme, that it seems unlikely that she even had enough fat to graft that much in her buttocks and hips,” the bicoastal surgeon noted.

“The degree of the Brazilian butt lift is so extreme that she may have just performed a second stage procedure recently,” Dr. Lipkin continued. “At the beginning, there is swelling, so the result is exaggerated — completely unnatural appearance,” she expressed.

In addition to her behind, Dr. Lipkin believes Kim “for sure” had breast implants, noting that it was a “good job” but not “natural or believable.”

As for her face? “She had a rhinoplasty, lip injections and likely other fillers in other parts of her face to achieve a high cheekbone look,” Dr. Lipkin said.

“Sometimes called ‘liquid facelift,’ you can add enough fillers to get the look of a facelift without surgery and contour the face.”

Plastic surgery or not, Kim certainly pulled out all the stops this year! We will definitely be counting down the days to see what she does at the 2020 Met Gala.
