Nick Jonas and Sophie Turner Had a Fun Little ‘GoT’ Interaction on Instagram Post-Met Gala
Little Finger … is that you? Shortly after the 2019 Met Gala, Nick Jonas took to Instagram to share a hilarious side-by-side comparison of his look and former Game of Thrones character Petyr Baelish. “Sansa … we must protect The Vale,” the singer, 26, captioned the post on Monday, May 6.
Of course, considering his sister-in-law Sophie Turner plays Sansa Stark on the hit HBO series, she was inclined to chime in. “Quit trying to manipulate me … ugh, I thought you died last season,” the 23-year-old actress wrote.
Come on, Sophie, you have to preface comments like that with “spoiler alert.” Either way, fans were absolutely living for the exchange. “OMG. This is iconic,” one user commented. “Hands down the best comment on this post … obviously,” added another.
In addition to fawning over their sweet sibling interaction, fans simply couldn’t get over how much Nick resembled Little Finger. To be honest, we’re not sure how we never picked up on it before! Perhaps it was Nick’s finely combed mustache and soul patch that really drove the look home.
“Nick is out here looking more like Little Finger than Little Finger himself. We stan a legend,” someone wrote. “No way … the resemblance is so spot on. You nailed it!” echoed another.
To be fair, we sincerely doubt that world-famous fashion house Dior intended on dressing Nick to resemble any character on Game of Thrones. As much as we love the show … it’s not exactly Camp.
That said, we think it’s pretty freakin’ cool that as a fan, Nick gets to interact with Sophie on a regular basis — he definitely owes Joe Jonas a nice Christmas present for that. In conclusion: The family that thrones together, stays together.
