Kourtney’s post continued, “I can’t believe she’s [seven]. She inspires me to be my absolute best. The things I have learned from her are immeasurable. Unconditional, pure love.”
Scott continued, “Just because their mother and I couldn’t make it as a perfect, romantic couple shouldn’t have anything to do with the kids.” The parents dated on-and-off for over 10 years before calling things off for good in 2017.

“They don’t deserve our mistakes, so we figured out a way. We still need to be as honest and as good to each other as if we were together. Let’s raise these children together and that’s it,” Scott noted.
Those romances took time to get used to. “I think the hardest part was when we both started new relationships,” Kourtney admitted during a sit-down with Scott in a video for Poosh.

Kourtney recalled riffs that they had while discovering these new relationships. “Like, the hardest part because that caused fights between you and I about introducing the kids. I think that caused the most challenges,” she said.

Kourtney even revealed that the two had to seek counseling to work through their issues. “I think that was, like, the time that you and I had our biggest … Like, where I felt like we literally had to go to therapy to talk to even get through to be able to communicate together,” she dished.

Scott chimed in with another difficulty they’ve encountered. “I think the biggest challenge was figuring out how we separate our relationship as friends and parents and still be on the same page. And, what’s appropriate and what’s not. And when to be able to talk to each other,” he divulged.
