Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Slay the Met Gala ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ Theme
Going back to the where it started! Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra made their Met Gala debut as a married couple on Monday, May 6, and look nothing short of amazing in their bold outfit choices. Priyanka, 36, wore a silver feathery ensemble, while Nick, 26, opted for an all-white look and accessorized with black eyeliner and an earring cuff. The two experimented with their looks, making this perfect for this year’s theme, Camp: Notes on Fashion.
The power couple, who are part of this year’s committee, first attended the extravagant event two years ago where they looked just as stunning. At the time, they were just friends who sparked dating rumors because they attended the Gala together. The Indian beauty wore a Ralph Lauren trench coat dress, while the pop singer looked handsome in a black and white patterned suit. Just when we thought they couldn’t look better, they proved us wrong.
In a recent interview with E! News to promote his new animated film UglyDolls, the youngest Jonas Brothers member revealed why the ball is special to them. “That was one of our first dates … but it wasn’t even really a date, I don’t know how to describe it,” Nick said. “That’s kind of an important thing for us, the Met Gala, historically speaking, so to be on the committee this year is great.”
Plenty has happened since then. The lovebirds tied the knot in December 2018 and are often gushing about each other on social media. They’ve even started talking about their future as parents someday. In the same interview, Nick revealed he thinks about how his career will affect his future child.
“I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do, we think about the future,” Nick told the outlet. “And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future.”
“That’s everything from the music to projects that we align ourselves with and, maybe some of the projects that are more adult-themed we’ll hold those back ’til they get older obviously,” he continued. “But with something like [UglyDolls], it’s just a joy to be able to do this for the kids in general.”
We’re sure their future kids will also get a kick of all these amazing memories the couple is currently creating.
