Now that's what we call a royal prank! Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 45, sent fans into a frenzy on Sept. 24 when he stepped out of a hotel with a red-headed man. He really hammed it up once he realized the crowd thought it was Prince Harry, 33, and fans were none too pleased when they realized they'd been tricked!

To be fair, Prince Harry is in Canada for the Invictus Games and he was expected to leave the hotel soon after the PM. Admirers were so desperate to catch a glimpse of him that they went wild the second they spotted someone with red hair and a little scruff. Upon realizing their mistake (and seeing Justin encourage the mania), they took to Twitter to air their grievances.

"@JustinTrudeau you sneaky prankster. Would the real #princeharry please stand up?" wrote a fan named Lisa, who shared the hilarious moment on Twitter. She said that the doppelgänger was "also wearing a very similar outfit to what Harry had been photographed in earlier that day!"

Justin's pal is actually his personal photographer, Adam Scotti, who follows the prime minister everywhere he goes. However, he definitely didn't mind being in front of the camera for once. "Made my day, thank you!" he wrote in response to the video. It got even better when he actually met Prince Harry, and Justin insisted they take a pic together. We have to admit, we can definitely see the resemblance.

Luckily, patient fans still got to see the British icon. "I stuck around for the real Harry but think of how many might have left and gone home saying they saw him. Whoops :P," wrote Lisa.
