Raise your hand if you had no idea that Bradley Cooper could sing until you saw A Star Is Born. Don’t worry, y’all. You’re not the only ones. As it turns out, Prince William himself had no clue that the A-lister, 44, could belt it out with the best of ‘em. So much so, that the Duke of Cambridge, 36, literally told Bradley that … to his face.

At the BAFTAs on Sunday, February 10, William and the Oscar nominee got to talking (casual, right?) and the father-of-three basically *fangirled* out. “Congratulations, great film,” he gushed. “I didn’t know you could sing!”

Brad’s response? “I didn’t either.” Ummm, is he not the most suave man on the planet? Of course, William got a good laugh out of that and they probably made plans to go yachting this summer. We have no idea if that last bit is accurate, but we don’t doubt it.

Despite the fact that it took Bradley over 20 years to show off his singing chops, now that he has, well, life will basically never be the same. In fact, we would like to propose that he only takes roles that include showing off his angelic pipes.

For example, do you remember that iconic scene from The Hangover when Ed Helms sang “What Do Tigers Dream Of?” In retrospect, that totally could have been Bradley. Talk about a missed opportunity, huh?

Needless to say, we are beyond excited for his performance of Shallow with Lady Gaga at the Oscars. We wonder if Prince William will take a trip across the pond to support his new BFF? Let the countdown to Sunday, February 24 begin.
